CROWN JEWEL

CROWN JEWEL

Packaging and print design

The Brief:

Crown Jewel, one of the most prestigious gins produced by Beefeater, needed a packaging redesign that would better reflect its status as a premium, world-class product. Despite its reputation, the existing packaging did not effectively communicate the brand's confidence and leadership in the market. The goal was to create a standout design that would resonate with its high-end consumers and reinforce its position as a top-tier gin.

My Thoughts:

To tackle the challenge, I focused on enhancing the visual appeal of the packaging to make it immediately recognisable and memorable. The strategy was to embody the essence of luxury and exclusivity while ensuring the design remained aligned with the brand’s heritage. The key was to use elements that would evoke a sense of regality and refinement, such as a deep, royal color palette and sophisticated typography, while also incorporating modern touches to appeal to contemporary consumers.

The Solution:

The final design features a striking deep purple bottle, which symbolizes royalty and premium quality. Gold accents and a sleek, minimalistic logo add a touch of elegance, ensuring the product stands out on the shelves. The intricate detailing on the back label tells the story of the gin’s heritage, connecting consumers to its rich history. This redesign not only elevated the visual identity of Crown Jewel but also reinforced its market position as a leading premium gin.
