The Problem:
Obscene Locals, a hip-hop collective blending urban emcee culture with live instrumentation, needed a brand identity that captured their street lifestyle and raw energy.
My Thoughts:
The design needed to reflect the gritty authenticity of urban culture while being bold and versatile for various platforms.
The Solution:
The final identity features a distressed, stencil-style logo with a key graphic, symbolizing unlocking new sounds. Bold, contrasting colours of yellow and black enhance the street aesthetic, creating a distinctive and recognisable brand for the collective.
